| Richard Bruness has been taking
photographs for the majority of his life. Born in Jersey City, New
Jersey, his city roots have given him a diversity of subjects to
photograph. Richard has captured everything from the city's unique
inhabitants for personal portraits, to its blazing fires for public
fire clubs and fire genre publications. His work has appeared in
several newspapers and fire ground photography magazines, and on a
book cover. He has exhibited his photographs in numerous group
exhibitions and has a solo exhibition this fall at the Emerson
Public Library. He now resides at his suburban home in Lyndhurst, NJ
with his wife Christine and cats. His backyard, certified by the
National Wildlife Federation, serves as his current muse,
photographing the lush flora and fauna that grace the small
sanctuary. |
